The Mt Hawthorn Cardinals has established a team selection policy based on the following:

1. Keeping players in their correct age group category where possible
2. When there is more than one team per age group:
1. Mixing of Aranmore, Mt Hawthorn and other school groups
2. Mixing of players so as to make two teams of equal ability

Note that:

1. Team Lists will be fine tuned using the above as a guide.
2. The final team lists are determined by the age group coaches together with the club Registrar.
